The Client:  Meyer Corporation is one of the largest, most innovative cookware companies in the world. In 1984, Meyer created Circulon®, the original hard-anodized nonstick cookware.  Today, Circulon has grown to become the largest-selling single line of cookware in the world.

Engagement Goals:  To revise Circulon’s website to reflect its position as the world’s leading cookware brand.  ANG’s goal was to overhaul the Circulon.com website to improve the customer experience, make the site more usable and search-engine friendly (SEO), increase traffic (SEM), and align the messaging and look-n-feel to brand’s positioning.

The Client:  About Guides live and work in over 20 countries and celebrate their interests in over 700 topics. Guides are selected for their ability to provide the most interesting information for users, their commitment to finding the best sites, and for their passion for their subject and the Net.

Engagement Goals:   About.com was positioning itself for sale and needed to deepen the content experience in critical areas of the website to attract more advertisers, justify premium advertising rates, and increase revenue potential.  ANG identified and negotiated partnerships with strategic content providers that were integrated into important topic areas within the About.com network.

Performance Summary:   ANG negotiated strategic relationships to integrate editorial content, services and commerce offerings, such as Edmunds.com in Autos, A.D.A.M. in Health, and PriceGrabber.com in ecommerce.  On February 17th, 2005, The New York Times Company reached an agreement to acquire About, Inc. from PRIMEDIA Inc. (NYSE:PRM) in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $410 million.
